So what is this about...
We have been told during our entire Christian experience that we are supposed to study the Word of God and teach our kids to do the same. Telling us is not getting it done.
The purpose of Entrusting Truth is to equip you to meet with God in His book so that you can equip your kids to do the same. You, the text, the Triune God, a blank sheet of paper, and a pen. No aids. Trust me, He wants you to meet with Him like that, and you can do it and you can show your kids how. It is not all that hard and when you begin to meet with Him like this, without all of the noise of study Bibles and commentaries, it is amazing what you will hear. Knowing His word is a requirement to knowing Him well.
